Good People Moments: A practice of allowing more joy into your life

#ForwardFriday

When we live from a place of openness and curiosity the small, daily miracles become visible to us. From our open-hearted curiosity, we allow the good people and moments to enter us, to touch our hearts. It's a lesson in receiving and allowing.

The good people we encounter in everyday life, are not only the people closest to us, it can also be the lady on a wet Copenhagen street, who smiles big from her heart to us as we hurriedly half-run to escape the rain. Perhaps her smile and presence gives us a sense of uplifted energy, or perhaps we are reminded to stop running away from the rain, and instead we stop up and experience the raindrops as they land on us - and in an instant we are in the now, part of the infinite universe.

When we look for the good moments, we build our sense of gratitude & our world of positives build exponentially.

Try to allow yourself to notice all the good moments in your life coming to you from all kinds of people. To allow this new way of experiencing your world, it is helpful to write down all those big and small moments you receive. I often write them down right after they happen on my iPhone notepad. I just add them to my growing list. It helps me remember on the days, when I don't. It's like keeping a list of little gifts of love and kindness I received, and I can bring them out, when I most need a little reminder that life is grand and that I am loved.

I'd love to hear from you. What moments of good people encounters are on your list?

With love,

Sandja
